Positive Outlook for US Hoteliers

Transient bookings across hotels in the US will be up 1.2 percent year-on-year for the period

between December 2015 till this November, according to TravelClick.

This follows increased bookings seen over the last months of 2015, where 21 of the top 25 markets showed an occupancy growth.

With 2015 ending on a resilient note, John Hach, senior industry analyst, TravelClick, said, “There will continue to be viable opportunities for hoteliers to increase revenue and capitalise on the strength of the North American market.

[…] These areas of growth are becoming increasingly localised and necessitate closely monitoring key nearby hotels and emerging alternative lodging competitors.”
