Provectus to launch an initiative to convert used cooking oil into biodiesel.

The accommodation establishments will ensure access to the experts to collect cooking oil waste generated from the kitchens, restaurants as well as staff accommodation, which will then be processed to 100 percent biodegradable biodiesel.

“The two properties generate 4,350 gallons of cooking oil waste in a year and through this, we can produce clean diesel and cutdown on carbon dioxide emission, from materials which are initially considered as waste,” revealed Iftikhar Hamdani, cluster  general manager, Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman and Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman
